Thank you for your interest in donating a tree.

Trees are fantastic for our environment. Trees help produce the oxygen that we breath, they help reduce carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases. Also native trees provide habitats & are excellent food sources for our native bird & bee populations. There is also added benefits of reducing erosion & controlling water in the soil, and not to forget they look bloody awesome on the landscape.

For the above reasons this part of the project is a real personal passion of mine and I need some help. We've set aside some land for replanting in native trees. Given the amount of land we wish to replant, this project will take some time and it will be expensive, with costs including clearing land, purchasing trees, stakes, fencing off the trees from stock and ongoing care & maintenance

So please, help me to help give back to the environment.

As a donor, we will provide you with a membership number, and a certificate of the tree or trees purchased. Once a year we will also hold an open day, and donors will be invited too visit and check up on their tree, and to help with an annual weeding around the young trees. It will be an opportunity to also to have a picnic in the surrounds you are helping to regenerate.

$25 NZD per tree

Fun Fact: A fully grown 12m tree will produce around 100kg of oxygen per year. A human will breathe in around 700kg of oxygen per year, which means for every individual on the planet we need 7 or 8 trees per person per year for oxygen.
